IDX Compact Drives

With the new modular Compact Drive IDX the maxon Group launches a drive that has been especially developed for applications in industrial and logistics automation.

The IDX combines a powerful, brushless DC motor and an EPOS4 positioning controller, which can be complemented with a maxon planetary gearhead when required. Its compact size makes the IDX more efficient than current solutions on the market.

This drive stands out for its high efficiency, maintenance-free components, and a high-quality industrial housing with IP65 protection.

The field buses CANopen and EtherCAT, as well as the adjustable digital and analog inputs and outputs, are matched optimally to the various functions and operating modes. The graphic user interface of the software EPOS Studio enables easy commissioning and integration into master systems.

The advantages of IDX

- High torque density
- IP65 protected housing
- CANopen and EtherCAT
- Auto Tuning
- Ready for use at the press of a button
- Integrated protective functions
- Configurability
- Quick delivery
