The name Animatics represents the company`s philospphy. The first part of the word derives from the Latin word anima meaning "to breathe life into." The second part comes from the Greek word automatos meaning "acting independently, self moving and self thinking." The first SmartMotor™ was patented in 1995 and won the „Best Product of 1995“ Award (Design News)for Animatics Corporation. Today Animatics offers already Class5 types. This demonstrates the evergrowing importance of integrated servo motors.
