SmartMotor™
The patented SmartMotor™ of Animatics is a highly programmable, integrated servo motor system that is integrated with a powerful brushless motor, an encoder, an amplifier, a controller, RS232/RS485 communication, and IOs within one case. The system delivers power ranges from 145 W to 615 W and might be used as stand-alone unit as well as part of a network. Profibus, DeviceNet, CANopen and RS-232/-485 are supported.
Each SmartMotor™ may be used in a master as well as a slave function within the network. The new, innovative Combitronic™ technology garantuees, that each SmartMotor™ gets the same information - with rates up to 1.000 kBaud. So up to 120 SmartMotor™s may work together within one configuration. Besides that, the most advanced electronical camming-, gearing- und contouring functions are offered.
